In this place of insecurity
Deception slowly creeps inside of my mind
Where we only had each other
Your embrace was my only solace
You were my only shelter when I was scared
You were the light that dwelled inside the darkness
You were my everything I needed to survive
In this world of corruption
But now you're gone
Drowning in the pool of doubt
Strangled by the throughs within your mind
Sinking deeper and deeper inside the prison in my head
Can you reach my hand?
I keep trying to save you
But you shove me away
You pushed me away again
I keep trying to save you again and again
Sorrow chains the frailest of hearts
As it beats you down on your knees
It's hard to see the sunlight through the shadows of uncertainty
Where pain becomes the only sanctuary
It's hard to feel prosperity
When all your thoughts betray conformity
I keep trying to save you
But you shove me away
You pushed me away again
I keep trying to save you, save you
You won't let me see the scars
I keep trying to save you again and again
Why do I even care?
This is not a game
You just look the other fucking way
You never let me see the scars
How can I save you
When you won't even let me inside, inside your mind?
Why do I even fucking care?
I don't care, I don't care
When you won't even save yourself
I keep trying to save you
But you shove me away
You pushed me away again
I keep trying to save you again and again
But you shoved me away
You pushed me away
I am more a melodeath guy than deathcore, but I enjoy all the symphonic elements or rythym changes. This album is a BLAST omg my neck hurt, so much headbang🤘🤘 olive855
First WTF was google music actually throwing something good into my feed.
Second WTF was everything every goddamn member of this band does. This and the previous album have been on repeat for weeks. All other music tastes like diet water. Help. Gruso
Chicago deathcore outfit Into the Silo torch everything in sight on this searing new LP with riffs that will leave bruises. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 21, 2022
Pity that I could not find the deluxe edition with LoG's Laid to Rest. Nevertheless I wanted to add Elegy to my BC collection. It's unique as it is a delightful mix of symphony and deathcore. The vocals are just the perfect "5th element" that allows both styles to intertwine perfectly. Ben Duerr is the perfect vocalist for this role. The Elegy trilogy at the end is just the apotheose of death-gasm, it's a good trip down to memory lane as I've seen S.O.I. live last year! sachavonkarl74
